JUNE 25 - 29 . LA RURAL
19 CONTEMPORARY ART FAIR . BICENTENNIAL EDITION
The world press comes to arteBA

The world press comes to arteBA, drawn to it by Th!nk Argentina, a communications and brand development consulting firm that has worked for the Fair for the last four years. For this year’s Fair, Th!nk is inviting to its space two NGOs devoted to education and to implementing restraints in two different but interconnected areas: poverty and environmental issues.

The stand is to be called Ambientate [a punning imperative, meaning both “Give Yourself Some Color” and “Get Orientated”] and is meant to attract children of all ages, coordinated by the team of Potencialidades, a not-for-profit organization which, through art, play, sculpting and modeling activities and recycling in spaces called Ludotecas, seeks to take kids off the streets, encouraging them to develop their creativity --an analogy with their lives, which they can rebuild, to make them beautiful, and useful for society.

Alongside them, the group Ambientate will conduct its education campaign on the environmental problem of trash disposal and recycling. By creative means, artistic and easily applicable, it will be demonstrated how we can all pitch in, through small and large gestures alike, to change our environmental reality. Together we can generate an enormous movement to make real changes in our environmental reality and our quality of life.
