About MACBA
MACBA -Museum Art Center Buenos Aires- is a project that Aldo Rubino and M. Constanza Cerullo launched in early 2009. Its aim is to disseminate, collect and study 20th-century and contemporary art, not only within the Latin American market, but expanding local boundaries to other markets, promoting Argentine artists on an international level, and offering foreign artists the chance to show their works in its space.

MACBA will be housed in San Telmo. Work on the site should be finished by the middle of November 2011. At Avenida San Juan 328, it will be adjacent to the Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires (MAMBA), and its extensions, the The Cinema Museum (Museo del Cine) and the “Patio of Orange-Trees” (Patio de los Naranjos) Art Exhibition builidng, will be part of the Buenos Aires City Government’s project Polo Cultural Sur (South Cultural Center).
